About Beth...

Beth McCann is a certified Hakomi practitioner and yoga teacher. She taught public school for 18 years and brings a strong tradition of teaching to her courses. She has practiced and taught yoga for over 25 years and has been studying Hakomi since 2001. Beth’s approach begins with a strong mind/body connection. She focuses on using the breath to move more deeply into yoga practices to develop and integrate an awareness of the energetic body. On a practical level, Beth aims to bring yoga and Hakomi into practice in everyday life.
    
Beth is an active member of the Yoga Association of Alberta. She was president of the organization for five years and continues her involvement as a senior teacher for the training of YAA certified teachers.

Beth loves to spend time with her grandchildren because they illustrate “being in the moment” so wonderfully.
